AT&T, T-Mobile, Mint, Metro & Google Fi
Mint Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile run on the T-Mobile network, and Google Fi runs over T-Mobile's network too, so all five carriers use the same GSM-style codes below.

Before you start: have your Kai number handy — it's in Dashboard > Phone System.
Turn Forwarding On
- From your business phone itself (not another line), open the Phone app keypad.
- Dial the code below for the mode you want, replacing the number with your actual Kai number (include the leading 1) and, if you want a different ring time, swapping 15 for 10, 20, 25, or 30.
- Tap Call, and wait for the confirmation tone or message.
- Kai will call your business line to confirm forwarding is working.
Only when you can't answer (recommended)
Covers busy, no answer, and unreachable in one code. Rings for 15 seconds before forwarding by default — long enough to grab it, short enough that Kai picks up before your carrier voicemail does.

iPhone on T-Mobile or Mint Mobile: turn off Live Voicemail before you test — go to Settings > Phone > Live Voicemail and switch it off. Otherwise Live Voicemail answers first and the call never actually forwards to Kai.
T-Mobile, Mint or Metro rejects the code? T-Mobile publishes one code per condition rather than the combined code above. Dial these one at a time instead: **61*1[your Kai number]**15# (no answer, 15-second ring), **67*1[your Kai number]# (busy), and **62*1[your Kai number]# (unreachable). ##004# turns all three off.
AT&T rejects the code? AT&T doesn't publish wireless forwarding codes. Ask AT&T for conditional call forwarding (no answer, busy, unreachable) to your Kai number. Your phone's own Call Forwarding switch forwards every call, not just the ones you miss.
Google Fi: the codes above don't work on Fi. Open the Google Fi app, go to Phone settings > Call forwarding, add your Kai number and choose “Always forward”. Fi can only forward every call, so your Fi phone won't ring first and Kai answers all of them. To undo it, set Call forwarding back to “Don't forward”.
Liberty or Claro in Puerto Rico: use the same code above. Neither carrier publishes its own code for forwarding only the calls you miss, so if it's rejected, call your carrier and ask for conditional call forwarding to your Kai number. Common Questions
What is the code to forward missed calls on AT&T or T-Mobile?
Dial **004*1[your Kai number]*11*15#. It forwards calls you don't answer, calls while you're busy, and calls when your phone is off, all in one code. Dial ##004# to turn it off.
What do the numbers in the code mean?
**004* turns on all three kinds of conditional forwarding. Next comes your Kai number with the 1 in front. *11 means voice calls. The last number is how many seconds your phone rings first.
Can I change how long my phone rings first?
Yes. Change the last number in the code. The network allows 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 seconds. We suggest 15, because most voicemail picks up after about 20 to 25 seconds, and Kai needs to answer before it does.
T-Mobile rejected the code. What now?
T-Mobile lists one code per condition instead. Dial these one at a time: **61*1[your Kai number]**15# for no answer, **67*1[your Kai number]# for busy, and **62*1[your Kai number]# for unreachable.
How do I check if forwarding is on?
Dial *#61#. Your phone shows whether no-answer forwarding is on and the number it goes to.
Why does Live Voicemail on my iPhone stop forwarding?
Live Voicemail answers the call on your phone before the carrier can forward it. On T-Mobile or Mint, turn it off in Settings, Phone, Live Voicemail.
Does call forwarding send my text messages to Kai too?
No. Call forwarding only moves voice calls. Texts keep going to your phone. To have Kai answer texts, you need texting turned on for your Kai number, which is a separate step.
