The transfer starts inside KaiCalls.
If you already have a KaiCalls business account, open Number Porting and enter the business line you want to keep. If you are signed out, we will bring you back to the same page after login.
Ready to move the number?
Click below, choose Port a Number, and KaiCalls will check the number before you complete the rest of the request.
Before you begin
Use the current carrier's records, not your best guess.
The legal name, account number, PIN, and address must match the carrier account. A mismatch is the most common reason a request is rejected.

From number check to accepted cutover
- 1
Enter your number
Open Number Porting, click Port a Number, and enter your office line. KaiCalls checks if it is eligible right away. - 2
Tell us how the line is used
Tell us if customers text it or if alarms run on it. A personal cell is not moved. - 3
Confirm the account details
Copy the exact name, address, account number, and port PIN from your latest bill. - 4
Choose a date and authorize
Pick your preferred switch day. The authorized signer approves the form. The date is final once the carrier confirms it. - 5
Track, switch, and test
KaiCalls shows live progress. When the line moves, run test calls to verify Kai answers before you accept.
While it moves
The Number Porting page is your status screen.

Accept the cutover only after the real number works.
- Call the moved number from a mobile phone and verify Kai answers.
- Place a test call out and verify the business caller ID shows.
- Test greetings, voicemail, and after-hours rules.
- Check that the call log and alert text arrive on your cell phone.
- Accept the cutover in KaiCalls only after these tests pass.
