The usual causes
Why your carrier rejected the request.
Here is what the carrier rejection message really means and how to fix it.
Name mismatch
The name on the request does not match the account owner. If the bill has your LLC or your business partner's name, you must use that exact name.
Address mismatch
Carriers compare the physical service address, not always your mailing box. If you moved offices, use the original address on file.
Invalid transfer PIN
Your port PIN was wrong, expired, or missing. Contact your old carrier and ask for a fresh port-out PIN.
Carrier freeze or lock
Many carriers turn on a security feature called Port Lock or Number Freeze. Call them and ask to remove the transfer lock on your line.
Carrier records
Ask your carrier for a Customer Service Record (CSR).
If you cannot figure out why your carrier rejected the request, get their official record.
- 1
Call your current carrier support line
Tell the agent: "I need a copy of my Customer Service Record (CSR) for my phone number." - 2
Look at the exact fields on the CSR
The CSR shows the exact legal name, billing telephone number (BTN), and physical service address stored in the carrier database. - 3
Match every letter and punctuation mark
If the carrier spells "Suite" as "STE" or has an old address from five years ago, copy that exact text onto your KaiCalls form.
Resubmission
How to resubmit your request in KaiCalls.
1. Open Number Porting
Sign in to KaiCalls and click Number Porting. Click on your rejected request.
2. Edit the rejected fields

4. We track it with you
If the carrier rejects it a second time, our porting desk will email you to help sort it out directly.
Verification
Checklist before hitting resubmit.
- The name matches the exact name on my latest phone bill.
- The address matches the service address on my bill or carrier CSR.
- I verified that my port-out PIN is fresh and active.
- I called my carrier to confirm no port lock or freeze is active.
- My old account is still active and has no past-due balance.
