KaiCalls

Phones for agents

One line for your agents. Your cell rings first, Kai takes the rest.

KaiCalls is a business phone line for teams of agents: your agents’ cells ring first, Kai answers the calls nobody picks up, and there is no charge per agent’s cell.

Plans start at $10. Building software agents instead? They can get a phone line of their own too.

Which kind of agent?

Real estate agents and teams

Buyers call while you are at a showing. Your cell rings first. If you can’t pick up, Kai answers, asks what they’re looking for and when they want to move, and texts you the details.

Insurance agents and agencies

Quote requests and claim calls come in while you’re with a client. The agency line rings your agents first, and Kai takes down what the caller needs so nobody waits for a callback blind.

Sales agents and small teams

One number for the team, each agent’s cell in the ring group, Kai on the miss, and outbound follow-up calls and texts from the same line. It is not a call-center dialer with a seat for every rep.

AI agents

Software agents get their own phone line: a number to call from, answer and text from, through an MCP server or API, with a way to pull a person in mid-call.

Why per-seat phone apps cost agent teams more

Many team phone apps charge for every user. A team of agents pays once per person, and a call nobody picks up still goes to voicemail. With KaiCalls up to five agents’ cells ring in order at no charge per person, and Kai answers the calls nobody picks up.

There are no per-minute overage charges. Your plan includes an expected monthly call allowance. If your call volume stays higher, we recommend the next plan and notify you before anything changes. You can choose to keep your current plan, and we move you back down if volume drops.

Questions

What is the best phone system for agents?
It depends on the kind of agent. For real estate and insurance agents, the useful setup is one business line where your agents’ cells ring first and someone answers the calls nobody picks up. KaiCalls does that, and Kai answers the missed calls instead of voicemail. For AI agents, you want a phone line your software can control by API, which KaiCalls also provides.
Do I pay per agent?
No charge per agent’s cell. Up to five cells ring in order on each line, free. Plans differ by answered calls and phone lines, and desk phones beyond a plan’s included count are billed per handset.
How much does it cost?
Plans are Kai Backup $10/mo, Kai Line $79/mo and Kai Office $349/mo. There are no per-minute overage charges. Your plan includes an expected monthly call allowance. If your call volume stays higher, we recommend the next plan and notify you before anything changes. You can choose to keep your current plan, and we move you back down if volume drops.
Do agents have to change their number or install an app?
No. Keep the number you already have and forward only the calls you don’t pick up, or use the KaiCalls number as your main line. The phone call is the app.
What is a phone for an AI agent?
A real phone number that software controls: it places calls, answers its own line and sends texts through an API or MCP server. KaiCalls runs the live voice on the call and sends results back to the agent as signed events.
