Choose where lead alerts go

Send the right alert to the right person: a shared inbox for the team, SMS for an on-call owner, or in-app notifications for day-to-day work.

What you can configure

Notification settings have two layers: business defaults decide which alerts are on and where they go; per-user preferences decide which teammates receive them. That lets a firm send new-lead alerts to a shared inbox while keeping usage and billing notices with the owner.

  • New-lead and lead-update notifications
  • Email, SMS, and in-app notification channels
  • The notification email address and phone number
  • Per-user preferences and lead-score thresholds
  • Usage alerts as you approach your plan allowance
  • Payment-failure alerts

Update Business Defaults

  1. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Notifications.
  2. Turn lead, usage, billing, email, SMS, or in-app alerts on or off.
  3. Enter the email address or phone number for each channel you use. A shared firm inbox can be the email destination.
  4. Save the settings.

Add Notification Users

  1. Open the user notification area on the Notifications page.
  2. Select a team member from your business user list.
  3. Add the user to the notification recipients.
  4. Set their channel preferences and lead-score threshold so they receive the leads relevant to their role.
  5. Save the page.
Keep alerts useful: Start with a shared inbox and add individual recipients only when the team needs a separate handoff.

FAQ & Troubleshooting

I am not receiving any lead alerts.

Confirm lead notifications are on, the email or SMS destination is valid, and the recipient is added to the notification list. If a score threshold is set, lower it temporarily while you test.

Why am I getting a usage alert?

Usage alerts are a heads-up as you approach your plan allowance. Review current usage in Billing before changing the notification settings.

A teammate gets too many notifications.

Raise their lead-score threshold or turn off channels they do not need in their per-user preferences.
