Overview
What the Jobber connection does.
Kai handles client calls and creates work requests in your field schedule.
Creates new clients
When a homeowner or business calls, Kai collects their name, phone, and property address. He creates a client profile in Jobber.
Creates job requests
Kai asks what work is needed (such as a plumbing leak, mowing, or HVAC check). He opens a new request in your Jobber Requests tab.
Matches existing clients
If an existing client calls from their saved phone number, Kai links the new request to their existing client card.
Alerts your team
Your dispatch team sees the new request ready for review, quoting, and scheduling.

Troubleshooting
Fix common Jobber issues.
Request not created
Verify the caller gave job details. If the caller hung up before explaining their need, Kai logs the call in KaiCalls but skips creating an empty request.
Address is missing
If the caller did not state an address, Jobber saves the client with their phone number only. You can edit the client card in Jobber.
Permission error
Only Jobber account owners or admins can connect apps. Ask your account owner to sign in and click Connect.
Token disconnected
Click Reconnect on the Jobber card in KaiCalls to refresh your login grant.
Leaving
How to disconnect Jobber.
Click Disconnect on the Jobber card in KaiCalls. Kai will stop sending requests. All clients, requests, and job cards in Jobber remain permanently in your account.
