Verizon Fios home phone
On a Verizon home line, dial *92 and then your Kai number. Your phone rings first. Calls you miss or can't take go to Kai. Then test it, because this code is not on every line.

Have your Kai number handy. It's in Dashboard > Phone System.
Turn Forwarding On
- Pick up the home phone on the line you want to forward.
- Dial the code below and wait for the tone.
- Enter your 10-digit Kai number. Wait for the confirmation tone.
- Call your number from a cell phone and let it ring to check that Kai answers.

Don't use *72. It sends every call to Kai, and your home phone stops ringing.
Code didn't work? Verizon says its codes are not on every line. The Fios Digital Voice guide only shows the code that forwards every call. If you hear an error, call Verizon and ask for “call forwarding busy or no answer” to your Kai number.
Skip Simultaneous Ring. Fios can ring Kai at the same time as your phone. Kai picks up right away, so you would never get to answer first.

How It Works
The forward happens in Verizon's network, not on your phone. Verizon calls this rule “Call Forwarding Busy Don't Answer.” It sends a call on to Kai when you are on another call or don't pick up.
Forwarding that sends every call always wins over other rules. If you turned it on before, turn it off with *73 first.

Do I lose my phone number if I forward it?
No. Forwarding does not move or cancel your number. Keep your phone plan active. Your number stays yours, and you can turn forwarding off any time.
