Xfinity Mobile and Spectrum Mobile both run on Verizon's network and use the same forwarding codes, so all three carriers are covered here.

Before you start: have your Kai number handy — it's in Dashboard > Phone System.
Turn Forwarding On
- From your business phone itself (not another line), open the Phone app keypad.
- Dial the code below for the mode you want, replacing the digits with your actual Kai number.
- Tap Call, and wait for the confirmation tone or message.
- Kai will call your business line to confirm forwarding is working.

Forwards the calls you don't answer and the ones that arrive while you're on the line.

Ring time before Kai picks up is set by your carrier (about 3–4 rings) and can't be changed from this code.
Spectrum Mobile: these codes are typical for Verizon-network MVNOs, but Spectrum Mobile's support isn't independently confirmed — if the code is rejected, confirm the exact code with Spectrum Mobile support before assuming forwarding is off.

Common Questions
What is the Verizon code to forward only missed calls?
Dial *71 and then your 10-digit Kai number, with no 1 in front. It forwards calls you don't answer and calls that come in while you're busy. Dial *73 to turn it off.
How many times does my phone ring before Kai answers?
Verizon sets the ring time on *71, about 3–4 rings. You can't change it from the code.
What is the difference between *71 and *72?
*71 forwards only the calls you miss. *72 forwards every call, and your own phone stops ringing. Use *71 with Kai.
Do these codes work on Xfinity Mobile and Spectrum Mobile?
Yes. Both run on the Verizon network and use the same three codes. Xfinity Voice and Spectrum Voice home phones are different services with their own steps.
Does call forwarding send my text messages to Kai too?
No. Call forwarding only moves voice calls. Texts keep going to your phone. To have Kai answer texts, you need texting turned on for your Kai number, which is a separate step.
Does my carrier charge for forwarded calls?
It depends on your plan. Most unlimited plans include forwarded calls, but some carriers count them as minutes you use. Check your plan if you are not sure.
