AT&T Phone (home phone)
On AT&T Phone, dial *92, your Kai number, then #. Your phone still rings first. Kai only gets the calls you don't pick up.
Which AT&T line is this? AT&T Phone runs through your AT&T internet box. It used to be called Digital Phone or U-verse Voice. For an AT&T cell phone, use the AT&T wireless steps.
Have your Kai number handy. It's in Dashboard > Phone System.
Turn Forwarding On
- Pick up the home phone on the line you want to forward.
- Dial the code below, then your 10-digit Kai number, then #.
- Wait for the confirmation, then hang up.
- Call your number from a cell phone and let it ring to check that Kai answers.

AT&T calls this Safe Call Forwarding. It covers a power or internet outage.

Don't use *72. It sends every call to Kai, and your home phone stops ringing.
Older AT&T landline? On a copper line that plugs into the wall, AT&T only lists *72, which forwards every call. To forward only missed calls, call AT&T at 800-288-2020 and ask for “call forwarding no answer” to your Kai number.

How It Works
The forward happens in AT&T's network, not on your phone. Each code sets one rule on your line. When a rule's condition is met, AT&T sends the call on to your Kai number.
You can turn on all three rules. Each has its own off code, so you can turn one off and keep the others.
