Straight Talk call forwarding
Straight Talk only lists a code that forwards every call. The code for just the calls you miss depends on which network your SIM card uses. Try the first code below, then test it.
Why it depends: Straight Talk sells SIM cards for more than one big network. Each network takes its own kind of code.
Have your Kai number handy. It's in Dashboard > Phone System.
Turn Forwarding On
- Use the Straight Talk phone you want to forward. Open the keypad.
- Dial the first code below with your Kai number. Tap Call.
- If you hear an error, dial the second code instead.
- Call your number from another phone and let it ring to check that Kai answers.
1. Verizon network SIM
Use your 10-digit Kai number with no 1 in front. Your phone rings about 3–4 rings first.
*71[your Kai number]
2. AT&T or T-Mobile network SIM
Put a 1 in front of your Kai number. Your phone rings for 15 seconds first.
**004*1[your Kai number]*11*15#
Don't use *72. Straight Talk lists it, but it sends every call to Kai, and your phone stops ringing.
Neither code worked? Straight Talk says forwarding is only on some phones and in some areas. Call Straight Talk and ask for conditional call forwarding to your Kai number.
Want Kai to take every call? Then give out your Kai number as your main number. You don't need forwarding at all.
Turn Forwarding Off
Dial the off code that matches the code that worked:
Verizon network SIM
*73
AT&T or T-Mobile SIM
##004#
How It Works
Straight Talk's help lists *72 to forward all calls and *73 to stop. It doesn't list a code for missed calls only.
The two codes above are the ones each network uses for missed calls. Straight Talk doesn't confirm them, so the test call is what tells you it works.

Common Questions
What is the Straight Talk code to forward only missed calls?
It depends on your SIM card's network. On a Verizon network SIM, try *71 and your 10-digit Kai number. On an AT&T or T-Mobile SIM, try **004*1[your Kai number]*11*15#. Straight Talk doesn't list either one, so test it.
Should I use *72 on Straight Talk?
No. Straight Talk lists *72, but it forwards every call, and your phone stops ringing.
How do I turn Straight Talk forwarding off?
Dial *73 on a Verizon network SIM, or ##004# on an AT&T or T-Mobile SIM.
Why didn’t either code work?
Straight Talk says forwarding is only on some phones and in some areas. Call Straight Talk and ask for conditional call forwarding to your Kai number.
Does call forwarding send my text messages to Kai too?
No. Call forwarding only moves voice calls. Texts keep going to your phone. To have Kai answer texts, you need texting turned on for your Kai number, which is a separate step.
Next, test that it worked. Still stuck? Reply to Kai's text and we'll set it up with you.
