Prerequisites

Before you connect.

1. FareHarbor login

You need admin access to your FareHarbor dashboard.

2. Webhooks enabled

Make sure webhooks are turned on in your company settings.

Setup

How to connect FareHarbor.

Configure your webhook in three steps.

    Copy your webhook URL from KaiCalls

    In KaiCalls, go to Connections > FareHarbor. Copy your URL.
  2. 2

    Add webhook in FareHarbor

    In FareHarbor, open Settings > Webhooks. Paste your KaiCalls webhook URL.
  3. 3

    Select booking events

    Set the trigger to Booking Created and click Save Webhook.
  4. 4

    Turn on the connection in KaiCalls

    Toggle the FareHarbor card in KaiCalls to Enabled.

Verification

How to prove it worked.

Send a test booking and check KaiCalls.

  • Create a test booking in your FareHarbor calendar with your mobile number.
  • Click Send Test Webhook in FareHarbor (or save the booking).
  • Open KaiCalls > Contacts: Confirm your test guest name appears.
  • Call your KaiCalls business number from that phone.
  • Verify that Kai greets you and references your upcoming tour booking.

Troubleshooting

Fix common FareHarbor webhook issues.

Webhook test fails (404/500)

Verify you copied the complete webhook URL from KaiCalls, including your unique business ID parameter.

Booking created but not in Kai

Check that the webhook event type in FareHarbor includes booking.created. Some accounts default to refunds only.

Phone number format

Ensure guest phone numbers include the country code (+1 for US) so KaiCalls can match the caller.

Webhook disabled in FareHarbor

Some FareHarbor accounts require support staff to enable webhooks. Contact FareHarbor support if the menu is hidden.

Leaving

How to disconnect FareHarbor.

Delete the webhook URL in FareHarbor and toggle the switch off in KaiCalls. Kai will stop getting booking updates. Existing contacts in KaiCalls stay in your history.
