The mission
Create a clear operating cadence without turning KaiCalls into a meeting-heavy company.
What you will own
- Run the weekly operating cadence.
- Track decisions, dependencies, owners, deadlines, and receipts.
- Prepare concise briefs and close cross-functional loops.
- Own special projects.
- Improve processes without adding ceremony for its own sake.
What success looks like
- One clear weekly operating picture exists.
- Every material commitment has an owner and proof standard.
- Cross-functional handoffs stop disappearing.
- Founder time shifts from coordination to unique-value work.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years in startup operations, founder's office, or program leadership.
- Exceptional synthesis and follow-through.
- Comfort across technical, customer, and commercial work.
- High discretion and low-ego ownership.
Helpful, not mandatory
- B2B SaaS.
- Telephony or AI.
- Finance and analytics.
- Remote-team operations.
Compensation
The base salary range is $90,000-$135,000 USD for a US-remote employee. Final compensation will reflect role level, location policy, experience, benefits, variable compensation where applicable, and equity. Contractor arrangements are scoped separately.
How we evaluate
We use the same core evidence for every candidate: comparable outcomes, ownership, customer judgment, role skill, communication, and learning velocity. The process normally includes a short screen, a paid and bounded work sample, structured interviews, and reference checks.
Example paid work sample: Turn a simulated week of customer incidents, releases, partnerships, and sales commitments into a prioritized operating brief with decisions, owners, and proof.
Your first 90 days
- First 30 days: Map commitments, meetings, and sources of truth.
- By 60 days: Run the operating cadence.
- By 90 days: Demonstrate reclaimed founder time and fewer dropped commitments.
