How we evaluate
We use the same core evidence for every candidate: comparable outcomes, ownership, customer judgment, role skill, communication, and learning velocity. The process normally includes a short screen, a paid and bounded work sample, structured interviews, and reference checks.
Example paid work sample: Reconcile a fictional P&L, Stripe export, carrier invoice, and customer-usage file, then summarize discrepancies, cash risks, and the close plan.
Your first 90 days
- First 30 days: Validate books, cash, and reporting gaps.
- By 60 days: Establish close and forecast cadence.
- By 90 days: Deliver trusted unit economics and remove the largest reconciliation risk.
