Slack × Slackbot MCP

Bring your phone line into Slack.

Connect Kai Calls to Slackbot’s MCP client and your team can ask, in plain language, about today’s calls, hot leads, voicemails, and analytics — then share the answer into a channel so the whole team is on the same page.

Ask anything
Plain language

Ask Slackbot about today’s calls, hot leads, voicemails, and analytics — no dashboard tab-switching.

Read-only
By default

Each member connects with their own login, scoped to one business, and a Slack admin can revoke access at any time.

Remote MCP
Same server

Kai Calls runs a remote MCP server — the same one used by other AI assistants — so any workspace can connect it.

how it works

Three steps to Slackbot + Kai Calls

Install the app, connect your account, then just ask. Slackbot calls the Kai Calls tools on your behalf and replies right inside Slack.

1
Install from Slack
An admin adds the Kai Calls app — which declares the Kai Calls MCP server — to your workspace from the Slack Marketplace.
2
Connect your account
Each member signs in to Kai Calls through Slackbot’s secure OAuth flow. If you belong to more than one business, you pick which one to connect.
3
Just ask Slackbot
Message Slackbot in plain language. It calls the Kai Calls tools on your behalf and replies with the answer — share it into a channel to make it multiplayer.

features

What you can do from Slack

Slackbot talks to the Kai Calls MCP server on your behalf, so the same calls, leads, and recordings you see in the dashboard are a question away in Slack.

Ask in Plain Language

Conversational

Ask Slackbot “what calls came in today?” or “show me this week’s hot leads” and it answers from your Kai Calls account — no dashboard tab-switching.

Calls, Transcripts & Recordings

Full Context

Pull up recent calls, read the summary and full transcript, and grab the recording link — all from a Slack message.

Leads & AI Scores

Prioritized

Review new leads with their AI score and explanation so the team knows who to follow up with first.

Voicemails & SMS

Everything

Check voicemails with transcripts and review SMS conversations without leaving Slack.

Make It Multiplayer

Shared

Share Slackbot’s answer into a team channel so everyone sees the same calls, leads, and next steps — work moves from one person to the whole team.

Scoped & Revocable Access

Secure

Each member connects with their own Kai Calls login. Slackbot only reaches the business you choose, and a Slack admin can revoke access at any time.

example

Ask Slackbot, share the answer

Message Slackbot the way you’d ask a teammate. It answers from your Kai Calls account, and you can drop that answer into any channel.

@Slackbot what calls came in today, and which were missed?
Slackbot
via Kai Calls

9 calls today — 7 answered, 2 missed.

Top lead: Sarah Johnson — car accident, wants a consult within 48 hours. AI score 92/100.

Missed: 2 after-hours calls, both with voicemail transcripts ready to review.

Share this into #front-desk so the team can pick up the follow-ups.

faq

Common questions

How access, security, and actions work when you connect Kai Calls to Slackbot.

Does this post call alerts into a channel automatically?

Not yet. Today the integration is conversational: you ask Slackbot and it answers from your Kai Calls account, and you can share that answer into any channel. Automatic push notifications into a channel are a separate capability we’re building next.

Who can see my Kai Calls data?

Each member connects with their own Kai Calls login through Slackbot’s OAuth flow, and Slackbot is scoped to the single business that member chooses. It can only reach businesses you already have access to in Kai Calls, and a Slack admin can revoke the connection at any time.

Can Slackbot take actions, not just read?

By default the connection is read-only. With the matching permissions granted at sign-in, Slackbot can also place an outbound call through your agent or run governed configuration updates — and it confirms with you before doing anything that changes your account or dials a number.

Which Slack feature does this use?

Slackbot’s MCP client. Kai Calls runs a remote MCP server — the same one used by other AI assistants — so any workspace can connect it to Slackbot and start asking right away.

Put your calls where your team already works
