KaiCalls

Kai calls for you

Have Kai check on a prescription

Pharmacy phone lines mean menus and hold music. Kai can make the call and ask whether something is ready, what it will cost, or what the pharmacy needs to move a prescription over.

What Kai does

  • Works through the pharmacy phone menu and waits on hold.
  • Tells the person who answers that he is an AI assistant calling for you.
  • Asks the questions you gave him: ready or not, the price, the hours, or what a transfer needs.
  • Reports their answer back to you, with the transcript.

How to ask your assistant

Once KaiCalls is connected to your assistant, paste this in and fill in the brackets.

Have Kai call the pharmacy at [their number]. Ask if they can transfer a prescription from my current pharmacy, what they need from me to do it, and how long it usually takes.

Good to know

  • A pharmacy may not share health details with a caller who is not the patient. If they will not, Kai tells you what they said.
  • A transfer usually needs the patient’s name, date of birth and prescription number. Only put in your request what you are comfortable having said on the call.
  • Leave card numbers, passwords and Social Security numbers out of your request. If a business will only go ahead with those, call them yourself.

On every call

  • Kai tells the person who answers that he is an AI assistant calling for you.
  • Kai calls businesses in the US and Canada. Your free first call only goes to a business line, never a personal cell phone.
  • Kai does not place errand calls to numbers in states where everyone on a call must agree to it being recorded.
  • Kai waits through phone menus and hold music instead of hanging up.
  • You get a transcript of the call, so you can read exactly what was said.

What it costs

Your first call to a US or Canada business line is free when you connect through your assistant, before you add a card. After that, calls run on a plan. The first one is Kai Backup at $10/mo: your own number, with ~20 Kai-answered calls/mo. No per-minute overage.
